Ingredients

  • 1 partwhite sugar (by weight)
  • 1 partwater (by weight)
  • Fresh raspberries (about 1 cup per cup of water)

Method

  1. 1Simmer the raspberries in the water for 5 minutes, mashing them as they soften. Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Let cool, then fine-strain. Store in the refrigerator.
