  1. 1Drop the bitters around the inside of a frozen martini glass.
  2. 2Stir the vermouth and gin with large cubes until very cold, then strain into the glass from a height, expressing a lemon twist over the stream.
  3. 3Garnish with the twist, or with a pricked green olive.
