Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups demerara sugar
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp salt
Method
- 1Bring the water to a boil. Add the demerara sugar and whisk until dissolved and the syrup turns clear, about one minute. Remove from the heat and let cool, then stir in the vanilla and salt. Bottle and refrigerate.
